General Directions
From Bideford
• Take the A386 New Road along the river, signposted Great Torrington.
• Follow the road for approximately 6 miles until you enter Great Torrington.
• Continue along New Road and at the roundabout take the first exit into Calf St.
• Torrington Gate will be found on the left hand side, next to the hospital.
From Barnstaple
• Take the A39, signposted for Bideford and Bude.
• Pick up the signs for Great Torrington, A386.
• Follow this road for approximately 6 miles until you enter Great Torrington.
• Continue along New Road and at the roundabout take the first exit into Calf St.
• Torrington Gate will be found on the left hand side, next to the hospital.
From Okehampton
• Take the A386 northwards signposted for Great Torrington.
• On entering Great Torrington along New Road, take the second exit on the roundabout into Calf St.
• Torrington Gate will be found on the left hand side, next to the hospital.
