There is a wide variety of shops in Hackney and in neighbouring towns Stoke Newington, Islington and Highbury.
There are a number of amenity stores on Amhurst Road including a small supermarket. Approximately 10 minutes from the development is Kingland High Street which offers another selection of retail stores such as Boots and many banks. Kingsland Shopping Centre, which is also along this road, has even more stores including Sainsbury's, Iceland, Burtons and Dorothy Perkins.

Transport
Rectory Park and Hackney Downs train stations are approximately 5 minutes from the development. The regular service travels to Liverpool Street in roughly 15 minutes, which is convenient for commuters.
The A10 is within half a mile and goes South to the City and North to Cambridge.

Hackney Downs is within 5 minutes of the development and is a large public open space, which offers 3 tennis courts, basketball courts, a football pitch, an artificial cricket wicket and a children's playground.
The Queensbridge Sports and Community Centre is within 2 miles and offers a variety of facilities including badminton, tennis, volleyball and 5-a-side football.
The Hackney Empire is a must-see for any music lover, as it hosts a number of music events and theatre shows.
