Eaton Socon is served by a small parade of local shops less than 2 miles from St Neots town centre.
The market town houses a wide range of shops from national names to traditional family companies and is set on a riverside location which is 2 miles from Beauchamp Place.
On the outskirts of town can be found a retail park which includes B&Q and at Eynesbury there is a Tesco store.
A charter market is held on a weekly basis and once a month is a farmers market.
For shopaholics, there is the shopping cente 'the centre:mk' in Milton Keynes which is 30 miles from the development which boasts 230 stores. These include John Lewis, Debenhams, Marks and Spencer and Next.
Schools
Bushmead Primary School lies adjacent to the development.
Secondary schools in the area are Longsands College and St Neots Community School.
Further education can be studied at The Huntingdon Regional College.

Transport
The A1 is less than 2 miles from Beauchamp Place which goes to the North and South.
St Neots Station is two and a half miles from the development. It has a direct regular service from London to Edinburgh. The journey time from St Neots to London Kings Cross is approximately 45 minutes.
Health
There is a health centre in Eaton Socon which serves the community. There are also several doctors and dentist practises throughout the town.
Leisure
As St Neots is a riverside town it has several marinas where rowing and fishing are popular pastimes. The town is well provided with open spaces and recreational facilities which include several golf courses within close proximity.
There is a purpose built leisure centre which caters for all sporting facilities from swimming to badminton, squash and 5-a-side football.
To the north of St Neots is Paxton Pits which is a site of scientific interest and is home to an abundance of wildlife.
