Northallerton is well served by several bus operators. There are also daytime services to Bedale, Leyburn, Hawes, Stokesley, Ripon, York and Darlington.
There are also tourist bus services throughout the moors and dales mainly at weekends. The railway station is about 800 yards of the high street, the station is on the east coast mainline and has a few direct services to London and Edinburgh.
Also there are services to Thirks, Middlesbrough, Darlington and York.
Durham Tees Valley Airport is about 30 minutes drive from Northallerton with scheduled services to Amsterdam and London amongs other destinations.
