With the newly built Fremlins walk in the centre of Maidstone, the county town offers an excellent range of shopping facilities, located in Fremlins walk is a large House of Fraser department store, Boots, Topshop, Zara, and many other modern fashion shops. Transport
Maidstone is perfectly located for easy access to the rest of Kent, London and the continent. The M20, M25, M2 and A2 are within easy reach, the Channel Tunnel is 45 mins by car, Dover 1 hour and Bluewater 30 mins. The A229 leads south towards Hastings and the coast and to the North lie the historic towns of Rochester and Chatham. France is only 90 mins by train with easy connections for the French Riviera, Holland, Germany and beyond.

Maidstone General Hospital is located only 6.5 miles away with good transport links from the village. The local Surgery is also open from 8.30am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday with a Doctor on-hand for emergencies.
Leisure
Maidstone has a varied range of attractions ranging from historical sights to excellent socialising and nightlife facilities. The beautiful Leeds Castle is located only a few miles away as well as the Maidstone museum and Art Gallery. Maidstone Leisure centre is also nearby, where there a two pools, and regular health and fitness classes and a fully equipped fitness suite. The town centre is buzzing with pubs, restaurant and nightlife, and also has two bowling alleys, and a large multi screen cinema complex.
