Whilst the seafront is littered with quirky boutiques, the well know Sovereign Harbour is also home to fashionable shops, a visit to The Lagney Shopping Centre on a Saturday would also have you browsing the weekly market.

Lottbridge Drove is in an excellent location for transport. Regular buses run into the town centre approximately every 10 minutes.

Both Hampden Park and Eastbourne Railway station are close-by providing regular trains to both London and Brighton.

Eastbourne also has a vast number of taxi firms, providing 24 hour transport.

All of the towns parks are served by local bus routes however opening times are seasonal.

Sovereign Harbour offers the marina with sailing facilities. A range of shops and restaurants can also be found here. The cuisine varies from Italian to Thai, and there is something for all the family at the large Harvester.

For exercise and sports facilities the Sovereign centre has it all, there are several pools including a fun pool with wave machine and flumes, and a 25m lane pool. The 70 station workout studio offers gym memberships (managed by Serco leisure) and is home to the local football leagues.

There are a variety of both private and council owned art galleries in Eastbourne, with the newly opened cultural centre.
