About the area

These days, Basingstoke is an affluent and fast growing urban centre; but under the bustling surface, you can still make out traces of the historic market town, dating back to Anglo Saxon times.

For shopping, Basingstoke is virtually unbeatable; in fact, Festival Place is ranked in the UK's top 10 biggest and best shopping centres, with 165 stores and 29 restaurants, bars and cafes.
